Um, what? Which law was the driver with the camera breaking?
Most people have cameras in order to absolve themselves of blame if they aren't breaking the law and get into an accident, so that there is evidence. It... proves it after the fact.

He's following too close for one thing as it would be hard to tell from the video that he didn't hit the car himself.

He wasn't following at all. The car wasn't maintaining its lane and eventually moved into his/her lane and stopped. Even if they were traveling in the same lane, he/she also managed to stop without hitting the other car, which refutes your "following too close" assertion. You are a very bad analyst.

Nope. It's clear that he didn't hit the car. I guess it wasn't "too close" after all.

We have enough evidence to find her guilty. Please don't waste any tax dollars on a trial and just execute her already. It's the only way to be sure she doesn't reproduce.

Wow, you must have a lot of friends with such a winning personality.

You must be really successful in life too, amiright?
I guess you are trying to imply that I shouldn't judge people negatively when they respond without thinking even a fraction of a second about the point they are responding with?

He tried to clarify his position with one that was EVEN MORE WRONG than the one we initially assumed he was going with. When I make mistakes like that, I expect to be called out on it. I welcome it because it makes me more careful in the future. If you ask me, I did him a favor. He should thank me. YOU should thank me. "Why," you ask? Well, thanks to people like me putting in the work to make people a little more self-conscious about their replies, you may not need to filter through nearly as much unreasoned crap spewed forth when you read conversations like this online.

You're welcome, you ungrateful little...

;)

WTF According to the police they can't prove any crime was committed.

couldn't charge her with dwi/dui. once she leaves the scene they cant prove that she didn't drink more while away.

this happened to me when I was young and stupid over 30 years ago, was partying at a friends house and left, street he was on ended at a T intersection with a flashing red light which put me in a daze and ran strait through the T and ended in a farmers field. left to make a call and when I got back the cop was already there and said as much.

other charges may apply to her.

How about "failure to maintain control?"

Among others, and I wouldn't call that an accident as that would seem to refer it to being out of her control. An accident would be a meteor crashing through her windshield or hitting a deer.

if it's intentional it isn't an accident.
