I wouldn't say beautiful, but it had a "lets get down to business" look that I love. lol

That car was such a monster though. Last of the turbo era cars making over 1200 hp with far less aerodynamic downforce than today's cars.

Looks like someone watches a lot of Top Gear

Which is good.

EDIT: You forgot the part where the best F1 car had the best driver, Ayrton Senna.

You're right. Nice and clean. Now we're in the era of organic alien spaceships squeezing every bit of aerodynamics out of their shells.

That 1995 Ferrari is freaking beautiful too. Sucks that they weren't really all that competitive or reliable though. Seeing Jean Alesi struggling to get the absolute best out of that car around the track only to be 8/10ths of a second slower than Damon Hill. I've always kind of liked Alesi but he made some bad choices during his career on who to drive for.

Personally I don't think F1 vehicles are beautiful. They reek bad ass but just don't scream beauty in a vehicle to me.

One-hundred percent. I see F1 cars as functional designs, but anything but attractive from an aesthetics perspective..

When the hell did I suddenly begin to agree with practically everything ZC84 and Tec say, anyway?

So many I loved over the years....but strangely never liked Ferrari's cars...anyways:

Williams Renault in the good old days of Villenuve - Schumacher Rivlary (good times!)

Jordan F1, the Snake!

Jordan Honda, the Shark!

Jordan F1 the Fangless Snake again

Williams BMW F1

BMW F1 2009

The '94 Rothmans Williams-Renault is a gorgeous car...too bad that's the car that killed Senna. But those BMW cars were pretty horrid looking, especially that one with the sloping wide nose.

Lotus/Climax 33
Lotus with Climax engines sounds so naughty. Like an intercourse position.

I guess I am a sucker for variations of British Racing Green.

The new McLaren looks downright cool. Probably the only one I like in the past several years as far as looks go. Vodafone red and silver looks like a good combo. (love how it looks orange in NSTC too!)

My other favorite: Mansell domination era!
This was a cool moment in Grand Prix history.

Loved how he kicked ass in CART! Everyone said he would dominate the street and road coarses, but that only counted for one of his wins (Surfer's Paradise). The rest during the championship year were on ovals.

Now who amongst you here remembers this historic overtake?

I remember jumping off the couch, I thought they both were going out!

What a moment for Villenuve that was.

When we were kids my brother was a big Schumacher fan and I was obviously a a big Villenuve fan, I loved the guts on that guy. My bro left the house after that overtake he couldn't bare the shame lol
