There's a parallel women's competition that's for fitness models or something like that -- the exact name eludes me right now. Those are the really fit but very feminine looking women, not the nasty man-beasts in this thread. However, the last time I saw some of the fitness competitors, they were starting to look a little beastly as well, unfortunately.

They wipe it on for the competition, because it exagerates their muscle definition and causes a shadowing/glare effect.
