Fabulous ending!

Who needs an official/priest after that blessing?

as a Starfleet? captain, I assume he has the same authority as any admiral, or captain of a vessel?

They are probably married already, and don't know it.

couldnt hear shit :(

That's sad. Everyone else could understand perfectly the brilliant sentimental nerdiness that occurred between the lovely couple that made the video so wonderful, yet you can not. I suggest ear surgery.

Awesome ending - I wonder if he set it up to have Steward say "engaged" at the end [pending she said yes]

But man...the crap those movie stars have to put up with at conventions must be annoying at times [someone singing happy birthday, then someone else asking if he can have butt sex]

I don't get it, but then again, I'm not a star treck fan.

Engage was basically Picard's "Mark" (as in, "on my mark... mark!") when it came to giving commands. "Set course for blah blah, warp 7. Engage."

I hope in exchange he got to see everything of her.

I like Patrick Stewart, but I dislike crappy videos and lame marriage proposals, so I end up neutral on this one.

That was probably the most lame proposal I have ever witnessed.
Cool for the Trekster, but his wife was obviously embarrassed and will have to tell that stupid story the rest of her life and see people's reactions.
Even Patrick Stewart looked like he thought it was stupid.

should he be shooting the video horinzontally? At least try to shoot that proposal on 1080p or with a camera instead of a smart phone.
