Most Annoying Character About The Opposite Sex?

This is probably more of a reflection of the women I have encountered in my life and hopefully not true of the gender as a whole. Women who treat interpersonal relationships as though they were an economic transaction and their sexuality as a bargaining chip. These are my top 2 and although I could add to the list I think best to stop here. The more important question is probably what can be done about it?

I agree with you completely. The funny thing is, most women go to bed with the jerk that didnt spend a dime on her.
some even keep boyfriends as "investments" and steady incoming cash, while they bang jerks they're really attracted to.
never be the 7:00 date, try for 9 or 10. You dont want to be the sucker who feeds her, and gets her liquored up, so she can go home and call some jerk at 10pm to come over. If she wont go out with you after 8 or 9, this is probably exactly what she's doing.

If a guy's willing to hand over the money without fighting for it, it serves him right.

Maybe one characteristic that some men prefer in women leads to the unfavorable one. For example, some men like their women to be perfectly groomed all the time and to always look nice. Well, that takes money and some women don't have that. Therefore, if the men want their women to be like that, they end up having to shell out the money for the extra work. Just a though.

Think about the society they are in. The first thing most men try to do is get them in bed, so they start realizing that is all they have to bargain with. I usually tell women if the guy is adamant about getting physical during the first couple dates, dump him and move on, granted they never listen and then wonder why they get hurt, but that is another story

Myputer, you are correct, however the one thing even in today's day and age that women seem to fail to realize is that they are equals and don't have to put up with the crap that men feed them. Until they actually start acting more like equals and less like property, these trends will continue.......

To Tauren: You are correct I meant characteristic. I am not sure that I would extend it to character flaw since some members of our own gender display the same characterstic. Some people are hard wired to act that way it seems.

To Myputer: It seems that all the real sweethearts are married and I personally do not want to get involved with women who are attached. That is to say, beyond any friendship I may have with them.

You guys are meeting the wrong kind of women. Get to know them first. Talk on the phone to them and eventually their true colors will show. There are women like that, but those are few and far between, unless you go looking for them.

Women who are underpaid for doing the same job, do all the domestic chores while taking care of the kids, clean the streak marks out of the man's underwear and provide sex while dead tired are really irritating.

To Ratkil: Have you never experienced or heard of love at first sight. It does exist and if it extends to some libidinal cathecting on that first meeting then I don't see what is wrong with that. Using one's sexuality as a bargaining chip in such a circumstance can cause an unforseen and regrettable outcome.

Yes, I have heard of that, but I have never actually seen it play out successfully. We are raised to attach some emotional significance to sex, when it happens it clouds other issues. Be that as it may, I was more referring to when the man pushes for sex to happen. I tend to have nothing but disgust for the average male, it is almost like thier life is controlled by their sex drive, unfortunately society has ingrained in women that they just have to grin and bear it to ever find a meaningful relationship, and so it goes......

I thought about this for a while and I could not come up with an annoying characteristic that I ascribe to the opposite sex (hey, is ascribe a word or am I making it up? I forget sometimes.).

The only thing that I have ever come across about males that bugs me is not their fault. It is society's fault, and maybe the porn industry's fault. That would be &quot;THE PENIS IS A MAGIC WAND&quot; myth. As much as I wish it were, most women are more complicated when it comes to being satisfied in the bedroom and you can't take it personally. It's not that you don't have a perfectly wonderful penis, it is that we have both a combination lock AND a key hole that must be tended to.
