Most accurate way to measure body fat percentage?

Tried caliper examination by professional trainer, 12.5%. I don't think it's that accurate.

Are there other tests that are free and easily accessible? or that i can administer myself?

How accurate are those electro-calcium impedance devices or scales? Body-Fat Analyzer

just look in the mirror, don't be obsessed with the numbers. if u look good in the mirrow, then don't worry about the numbers.

I've never used this one before, but I have used the stand up kind where it measures through your feet. They are pretty accurate and well worth the money if you are concerned with an accurate reading on body fat %.

from what i've heard, and i could be completely wrong on this, the examination done by the professional is more accurate than most of the analyzers availabe. The only thing i could suggest is just getting it done again by someone else.

The only method that has a margin of error much less than 10% is underwater weighing. Don't place much faith in anything you can buy at your local Meyers, they simply aren't accurate. Calipers done by a professional isn't bad, but the methodology isn't all that great, so even in the hands of a pro, the results aren't fabulous.
Underwater weighing, done by someone trained, should produce results with a +/- 3% or so margin of error. That is as good as it gets.

While you can pay at most sports-med facilities to have this done, athletic training/excercise phys programs at local colleges may do this for free.
