Let's say that a Site Collection has the user NT Authority\Authenticated User added as Reader. JSmith accesses that site (who gets the permission from the NT Authority\Authenticated User right) would then be Site Collection User?
At least that's what I thought. I'm trying to audit access to a site and I thought that all the users who have accessed the site would be in the Site Collection Users list (Site Settings > People and Groups: All People). I know some people have accessed the site as they show up in Site Usage Report, but not in the People and Groups: All People list.
So does People and Groups: All People not contain all the Site Collection Users of the site?
And once a user becomes a Site Collection User for a particular site, they can then see results from that site when they do a global search right?
