Mosquito repellent

I live in Austin and have kept my door open the past few months to let air go through my apt and not have to use the air con. Yesterday was the first day it got fairly warm and low and behold a mosquito fly up to my computer screen.

I've tried getting the Off citronella candles to put outside my door in the breezeway but bugs will come in.

A friend suggested this

Anyone had any experience with those?

i baught some bat house's. we have maybe 3 bats living on my property. it really cut down the amount of mosquito's last year
