moskovskaya vodka

It's $7.99, and it looks like Stolichnaya but with a green label. On the label there are various gold medals it has won, so it can't be that bad, right?
Trying to find good alternatives to expensive vodka.
What do people think about that one?

indeed they do. but they also stock other liquors and hard-to-find beers. in fact, thats where i go to buy my tequila's, because they stock the more expensive and not-common-at-most-stores cheaper there (patron is under $40 [anejo, silver, reposado], tres generaciones is under $30).

I've had it in Russia, nothing impressive.

How does it compare to Stolichnaya? The reviews on the web are pretty positive. Not earthshattering, but generally good.
Stoli is 2x more expensive and Grey Goose is 3x more expensive than Moskovskaya.

Hard to say, it definately wasn't the best stuff I had but definately drinkable and better when mixed. But then again my bad vodka is the $2 bottles from kiosks that taste just like rubbing alcohol...

I wouldn't drink bad vodka in Russia. My uncle was partially paralyzed from drinking bad vodka.
