Mose pointer moves on its own

I just upgraded the ram in a system and now the mouse pointer moves all over without touching the mouse. Why would changing the ram cause this?

Sounds like a coincidence to me. Have you tried reseating the ps/2 or usb connection? Regardless, make sure you can complete a couple passes of Memtest86+/Prime95.
