mortgage rates in the rest of the world

anyone know where i can find typical mortage rates in the rest of the world? for isntance what the current rate is and if any other countries offer fixed rate mortgages.

In the UK it can be anything from 3.5% - 6% depending on the type of mortgage you get.

It is pretty hard to get a mortgage that is fixed for the whole term here, so you can get some pretty good rates like 3.5% for the first two years and then it will track the base rate +0.5% or something similar (base rate is currently 3.75%)

The longest fixed rate I have seen was something like 5.6% fixed for just over 10 years.
