Mortgage and Debt Consolidation Question

Hello,

I just had a quick question. I have been pondering with the idea of buying and I had a couple of CCs that I would like to consilidate. Is that possible with the new mortgage on the house or would I have to still have the same bills in addition to the mortgage payment?

Thanks
Phil

Depends on the lendor.

Even if you can and get it rolled into your mortgage, are your payments so tight now that you'd really want to be paying for stuff you bought on your credit card for something like 20 years after you bought it?

You should probably get your CC debt under control first. You'll be more appealing to the mortgage co too.
