I can afford the extra $20. Many can not.

yet you are still crying about it...

first you complained that you had to pay an extra $20 to play as goro.

then you get proven wrong, and see you can play as him for paying $60 (normal price), then you come up with something else to cry about.

whatever. at least you are speaking with your wallet, which is better than the people who cry about all the DLC and buy CoD + season packs. or the idiot who purchased Evolve in "protest" just to break the disc, even though at that point the devs had already received his money.

The ps4 store says that if you want to play as Goro, you are paying $80

I don't buy games Nib when they pull this shit. I didn't buy a system over it. I'll buy MK X used. The the development make $0 off of me.n

I'm not the problem. I wish everyone did this. Then it would stop. It's like Comcast screwing everyone all over agai
Charge more till you can't.

Again, I'm not seeing your argument here. You are misinformed, and therefore, upset? What does that have to do with MKX (or Forza)? Both are complete games for the price. Both come with additional content for sale, likely on day 1. You didn't buy a system because Forza did what exactly? Kick your puppy? Included the option for real money purchasing of cars, while keeping the same in game economy from the previous ones?

You not supporting developers isn't going to make DLC go away. If anything, it makes used games go away. In game purchases are here to stay. Get over it.

I've gotta ask you this.

Do you have a problem with dlc that adds to the game? Like the dlc that comes out for Fallout 3 or New Vegas that increases the time you play the game, the skill level cap?

As someone said earlier there are plenty of characters. In fact sometimes I think there may be too many. What I want to see is several really good characters vs. a bunch of lame characters that are there just to fill a spot.

I think this part of the reason why MK2 was so good. You had plenty of characters to choose from and they all seemed unique in their own way for the most part.

Oh and I'd probably give 20-30 alone just for Jason my favorite horror icon.

I thought the brutalities are pretty neat although they are kind of gross at times.

brutalities are very similar to ultra enders in ki. they are awesome though imo. i like how there are pre-reqs for them too similar to babalities and friendships of the past. also like how characters have multiple ones.

Sounded like a fart most of the time.

I'm so damn pumped for this game. I'm going to put a ton of hours into this

the fact that they are putting out all of this info about the game but haven't mentioned how the netcode is makes me very skeptical.

I haven't played any of their previous games online. Did they have issues before?

The problem I see with it is it'it's a fighting game and a bunch of people will quit.

That was my biggest problem with fight night on ps3. Seems like people can give a beat down but can't take one online

online in mk9 was terrible just due to the laggy nature of it.

people qitting is totally diffferent than fight night. mk matches last 2-3 minutes so it's not that big a deal to get rage quit on. just move on. it happens and at least in mkx, they have quitatlities which is hilarious.

but the netcode was just bad in mk9. laggy as hell with a HUGE input delay. it was the reason i stopped playing the game because i just don't have time to go to local gatherings.

and now with how incredible killer instinct netcode is, that is now the new standard imo. so i hope it matches that but i doubt it will because they haven't mentioned it at all. that is the only thing that is potentially holding me back from buying it. i think the game looks incredible, but if i can't play online i won't get it.

EDIT:

the actual modes online in mk9 were great.

I was on the fence about buying it since I wanted to pick it up but was waiting for a price drop. Fortunately, Dell has a sale where they're giving a $25 gift card away with the preorder:

http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=a8181635

The link is for PS4 but the deal's on all consoles.

I enjoyed MK9 but only got it last year (for ~$10) so I didn't get into it online but did enjoy the story mode. I'll still play the story first to get a feel for which characters I like the best but hope the online is stable.

here we are a week out from launch, and still no mention of the netcode other than "its better than mk9 and injustice" which is saying absolutely nothing. that is like saying your crap doesn't stink quite as much as horse crap.
