I don't play many fighting games mainly because I am atrocious at them but after watching 10 videos or so for this upcoming game I think I will probably buy it, if not at launch then I will wait for a review.

MK fans are trashing it pretty hard since it's rated T and the DC chars mixed in. I am more of a DC fan than of MK, though I don't mind MK if done right. All in all I think it's a cool concept and am looking forward to a review at least. Anyone else had an eye on this?

The IGN preview was pretty high on it. Said the fighting mechanics felt more refined that recent entries in the MK series, and that once you started playing it the DC universe really didn't seem out of place.

Yeah I watched the "story" trailer and it seems pretty well thought out. Hopefully it's not too hard to get into control-wise. I am kind of a button masher in fighting games. I am trying to improve though.

I was saddened by the change in the Joker's gun fatality too. However they left in the equally gruesome "card toss" fatality.

gameplay looks terrible. the animation looks terrible too. hits look like they don't even do any damage at all and have nothing behind them, and they hardly take any life.

then you have the "air combat" where you fall off a level, and end up right back on the level you fell from, so you can infinitely fall to "new" levels.

mk died once it went 3D.

Here's the link, but don't know if it'll work:

The BIGGEST piece of info? It expires in about an hour and 45 minutes from this posting, or at 8pm EST/5pm PST.

It's 87% used, so still some copies left.
