Hello all,

I was wondering what others thoughts on this game were, and if there were any reviews, etc. Im looking forward to it.

I'd also like to preorder it, and have it shipped to me on the day of release.... Does anyone know of a reliable source for that?

Personally, I'm waiting for Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus. I think Tobias from the original MK was involved with TF:FOTL, and so far the reviews are good. Its an xbox game btw...

I checked, but they just have previews... and nothing really new.. plus IGN makes me mad now that you have to subscribe....
 
They demoed it at the Cube Club on the GC just this past weekend. Graphics look pretty sharp, plays somewhat like a cross from traditional MK and Soul Calibur. But it does not have flashy special effects or interesting characters other than the typical ones you would expect from MK theme.
 
I was thinking of getting it for PS@ or Gamecube.. not sure which one..

I'd like to see a good review of it somewhere... or some good videos, comparing both versions... or even of either version

 
I can't wait for Deadly Alliance myself... i WILL have it for Xbox when it's out.

Just the screenshots at EBgames.com were enough to get me.

I'd like to hear about the gameplay though...and the playability, etc....

yes, it will be out on PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, and Gameboy advance.

I just want to know a bit more about it, and also, which version will be best..... the Gamecube or the PS2 version...

IGN has a pretty in-depth preview of it. This article is for the PS2 version, but I'm guessing they will be same across the board. I think the main issue you have to figure out in deciding which version to get is which controller are you most comfortable with. I too also have both the PS2 and GC, but I've always found the PS2 controller the most comfortable(especially for a fighting game where you need to have quick access to all the buttons). Another factor for me is that I have my PS2 on S-Video with digital optical sound, so I have almost the best quality(other than component), but on the Gamecube I only have RCA*puke*. I used to not be able to tell the difference, but after 2 years of using S-Video and Digital sound, using RCA is so obvious and I really haven't enjoyed my Gamecube to it's full extent b/c of this. I'm definitely going to pick up a set of S-Video cords for the GC when Metroid comes out.
