Don't think it's legit, the site lists this place:
http://www.gamefabrique.com/
as the publisher, which is just a roms site (and their description of MK there is pretty messed up).
My guess is they are claiming to be the publisher and download3k.com just took their word for it

haha this is awesome, i made it to the 2nd endurance fight before getting pwned...its funny how no matter how long its been since i play MK, i never forget how to do fatalities...
