i remember seeing some add-on graphics or something that improves performance in morrowind but i can't find it.
basically, when outdoors i get sporadic, infrequen but annoying 1-2 second hangs. seems particularly when it's raining.
i just got this goty edition and i have only installed the original, not the other 2 tribunal and something. i did download a patch, 1b i think and i searched a couple forums but the best i could find was a reference to changing the interior and exterior cell buffers but they gave no indication of what value to set them to. currently it is 10 interior and 32 exterior which is default. they also mentioned setting quadrophon-something to 0 (off) also default.
anything else? i remember seeing some site dedicated to it, or to a download for morrowind. or is what i'm looking for on the other discs? did the expansions improve the game play? i wasn't going to install them until i played the first for a while.
i have a p4 @2.6 and a 6800gt with a gig.
