Morpheus/Kazaa suck.

I have no problem FINDING the stuff I'm looking for, jsut as soon as I go to downlaod it I get a "more sources needed" error. Of course, it NEVER finds more sorces for download.

Yeah, personally I love "Download time 0:51" then its like 100:00 when you click on it.

I clicked to download Paul Oakenfold Live at Gatecrasher which is a 60 meg mix, and it spit out the More Sources needed thingie, once i clicked on it - only ONCE! - i got a 122kbs download going on... so i dont think it sux... at all... considering i got Need For Speed Porsche 2000 from it, and Carmageddon 2

yeah, but only like 2 of them are actually downloading at any one time.

I select a ton of things, go to work, and come home to dozens of files in my shared folder. Morpheus is great

only download the ones where the bandwith number is higher than 100.
it's like the color indicator for the connection in napster.

That happens, what do you expect.

Just select a bunch of songs and let them download. They DO eventually find another source. Shouldn't take all that long. It'll go by faster if you don't watch it.

Well, it's fast for me. Usually it downloads one file from multiple people at once and I get 100KB/sec or more combined. I've even downloaded 600meg+ files off morpheus.

For those of you looking for an alternative try XoloX. It runs off the Gnutella network and is a small program that allows downloading from multiple users at the same time. It's also faster than Morpheus and there is no spyware in it.

yep...kazaa sucks.


Not because its so slow, but because I can only get 128kbps sh!t from it. Even with the reghack, only a very very tiny portion of search results are at160 or 192. I've yet to see 256 or 320. Compare that with AudioGalaxy where I have no problem finding 256 and 320....

I got a couple of movies off of it, they were pretty fast (150k/s +) at some times but now one is finished, and one is chuggin along at 17k/s damn someone get online w/ emporers new groove
