I know a few mormons. they are nice polite people. there ain't nothing wrong with them at all.

I know tons of Mormons and they are great people. While the religion that they practice is not as socially acceptable as other all religions are odd when you think about them.

My wife was raised Mormon and her immediate family and mother's side is entirely Mormon.

The religion is HILARIOUSLY and provably false. It's very sad that anyone believes in it anymore.

for real... we had a lot of Mormon family friends when we lived in Oregon.

by far, the nicest and friendliest group of people I've ever met. I've always said that if I had to join any organized religion purely for the community, totally ignoring any theological beliefs, it'd be the Mormons.

Pretty much my experience with them as well, they make awesome neighbors. What's odd to me is how they do their door-to-door missionary stuff, but everyone I've met has always respected others religions or lack there of, and never pressured or tried to recruit.

I wonder if they have a policy of leaving the missionary recruiting stuff to the missionaries, and tell everyone else that simply being a good neighbor and respecting others religions is best.

I've read Battlestar Galactica is a retelling of the Mormon faith and challenges of the pioneers.

Related to lots of Mormons and they are really nice people, hard working and educated, but the religion is goofy. OTOH so are other Christian faiths, they just seem normal to the majority as they are so familiar.
