All those do is make me stare at the characters ... I don't even notice what words are typed. In my opinion they are annoying.

It detracts from the looks of the forum and is juvenile. We have enough of there here as it is.
It's mind boggling that this site is going downhill so fast. How about we just turn it into an AOL chat room and save the trouble?

Yeah, this needs to be ended. It's BS and cheapens the forum.

Now seeing them used in sig files also. Speaking of sig files, what's up with the picture and flashing text in the sig file in this thread?
It's about the 10th one down.

Edit: LOL! It's the fun mod doing a bit of public humiliation on a previously banned troll. I guess I didn't look too closely. Funny stuff!

I support their use in cases like that.

and this doesn't cheapen our hot deals

I agree, the characters are retarded. But if there isn't a rule, then that's that. I've always maintained that we have had a problem with our cheap dollar deals. Free t-shirts and toothbrushes are GRAND, but it isn't "HOT" by any means. I can save more money clipping coupons in my Sunday paper. Plus, I'll get less spam.

they don't need to be creative; they're titles to hot deals not albums or books. functionality is key. making a big show for vitamins is unnecessary.
