I'm assuming you mean Michael Dell.

No, of course not. He just piles up his money and swims in it.

I dont know if Dell has created any jobs in austin, but he sure has caused traffic problems in north austin with all the folks that visit his facility between 8 and 5.

Seriously I wanna know How these Mexico tycoons create jobs? Call me crazy but I always thought the governemnt printed money, loaned it out, which created the job. Damn government again.

But ultimatly it's up to the consumer to create the job by demand for the product you're selling and the money to pay for it.

You should really think about getting some sleep....the lack of it is making you damn near incoherent.

Probably one of those high tax countries cause they have a educated workforce and infrastucture which makes me believe my investment will appriciate as historically markets in these countries have done. They are the world leaders while I just use my military to shut down any democratic leanings.

You are free to go to mexico and invest your money. Remember to make money to bribe the officials, money for safe passage on highways, and dont get in a wreck as it will be your fault since you are not from Mexico.

Explain how businessmen in Mexico or anywhere else create jobs? In simple terms is fine. When my dad and I built 4 homes we borrowed, guaranteed by the tax payer and credit, to build them. In essense the taxpayers allowed us to use government created funds on loan to pay subcontractors. But ultimatly the consumer created the job by buying each unit with out this demand no building would have taken place. All we did was manage the product to completion using other peoples money. Is the term "never use you own money" something I made up?

Let's use Michael Dell as an example since you brought him up earlier...

"Michael Dell, born in February 1965, is the chairman and chief executive officer of Dell, the company he founded in 1984 with $1,000 and an unprecedented idea ? to sell computer systems directly to customers. The company employs approximately 40,000 team members worldwide and reported revenues of $36.9 billion for the past four quarters."

From here

That simple enough for you??

Not sure what you are laughing in response to. I have not at any point advocated 0 taxes or not having tax funds go toward infrastructure.

"Never use you own money", does not mean it has to be federal money. Go to Mexico and see if you can get hooked up with such a program(private or goverment). I will tell you will have a much easier time here.

Not at all. I'm not employed by anyone. I contract my services for a fee. The fee is paid for by the tax payer (in my case) or consumer in dells case. How is he creating any job? Seems quite clear with sales like that the consumer is creating lots of jobs.

Are you really that stupid?

Let's see...he invested his own money, created a company, that company now employees 40,000 people. Sure there are other companies that sell computers, but not Dell computers. He created the market for Dell computers.

If there were no consumers, there would be no dell. If there were no dell and his innovations he brought to the pc market, there would be less consumers in the pc market.

It works both ways.

Really? $1000 can sell billions in product, he is amazing. I think you'd better check out how much he borrowed from commercial banks (which we guarntee) and shareholders before calling anyone stupid.

Zebo doesn't understand that and never will. By his own admission he makes his money from sucking off the tit of the taxpayer.

You're really an ass...that's not what is being said at all and you know it. Well at least I hope you know it and are simply choosing to be an ass. If you're not I would suggest getting yourself some help. Someone with that low of an IQ shouldn't be left to look after themselves.

If Dell was not there, some other innovator would have taken his place.

What you don't undersand is every job is sucking the tit of the taxpayer. Even Dell himself. Think about how money is created and the flow from the four bank hiarachcy, to your employer and finally to you. It will make sense.

Yes money comes from the goverment, but that does not mean the goverment creates jobs.

Ahem..

Just a tidbit from the above linked article.

Funding from Operations: Doing It Old School
By Rob Landley (TMF Oak)
March 30, 2000

"Then again, Dell (Nasdaq: DELL) managed to fund its explosive growth over the past decade without going into debt."

What does that mean? It means that Dell funded it's growth by using it's own revenue instead of borrowing.

Here's another tidbit from a different site

"How to Make a Lot of Money
Through the 19th century, most manufactured products were custom goods -- for example, a furniture maker's income was limited by how many hours a year he spent in the shop. Leveraging capital and production created the great fortunes of the 20th century. For example, the Mars family's wealth was derived from candy bars, the Rockefellers' from oil, the Carnegies' from railroads, the Phipps' from steel, the Gambles' (of Procter & Gamble) from soap, the Fords' from automobiles. From each unit sold, a tiny slice flowed back to the founding families. Multiplied by millions of units sold, vast fortunes accumulated.

Late-20th century examples include Bill Gates of Microsoft (MSFT:Nasdaq - news - commentary - research - analysis) and Michael Dell of Dell Computers (DELL:Nasdaq - news - commentary - research - analysis). Tiny slices of each PC sold eventually led to multibillion-dollar fortunes. "

Understand yet?
