So its getting there Im alsmot done. All I really have left is to install the computer and build the controls.

The stuff is kinda dirty as I have been drilling and sanding some other stuff in the building....

TV Installed....... Mirror 19 Incher Orion TV

Speakers Installed. Mirror Some 5 1/4 Car Speakers, I forgot the brand but they are fairly decent...

Mounting Rack I made for the TV Circuit Board. Mirror Nothing Really Impressive just made a plexi mount for it....

Coin Door Repainted and Installed with New Lock Mirror

The Artwork that will be painted on the left side. Mirror This will be slightly modified before it is painted on...

The Artwork that will be painted on the right side Mirror This will most likely stay about 90% the way it is when it is put on the side. They will both be painted in color of course...

Those pictures labelled "mirror" aren't really mirrors but rather copies of the first picture hosted in a different place. I dont see how you could be so dense as to think they were mirrors. Mirrors are usually made of glass and are hung on walls.

AMDman, you're doing a great job! It's good to see that you've taken the time to cover all the details like repainting the cabinet, getting new controls, etc. If you're gonna do something, do it right the first time, right?

Keep up the good work; I can't wait to see the final product!

Doesnt look that great now because of the protective coating on it, but the free sample I got from t-molding.com looks great on the black and blue cabinet. :D

Yes, indeed that is the most beautiful roll of chrome peel-n-stick moulding I have ever seen. ;) LOL! I get excited about projects too. It's like "Allright! I got the right size bolts I need to attach the flux capacitor to the rebar!! This is gonna rock!!! " :D It's great to work hard and be able to see something come together...a whole bunch of parts and ideas forming something way cool...you charging friends $10 apiece to play with your new toy, etc. :D

Later. :)

Yep. :D Im gonna hopefully modify the coin mech to accept any coin so that I can use it as a bank. Like make it take pennies etc...

I really enjoy making stuff, especially cool stuff like arcade machines :p

Mame = Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator.
----Basically Its like project64, nesticle and all those console emulators except this lets you play the old classic arcade games (donkey kong, burger time, centipede, etc...) and eventhe newer ones (metal slug series, killer instint, etc...) It perfectly emulates all aspects of the arcade. You have to put in coins, the 5 keyon your keyboard, etc...

Its really great you should try it out. there are many different ports and variations of the software, for windows mame32 is the best. Its a very simple program to figure out. However im going to be running dos using arcadeOS as a frontend. So its all what floats your boat :)

Just so I can catch up what exactly are you going to use as the main components?
Is it going to be a PC with emulators or are you going to put an actual console inside?
I love the idea. Just curious.

EDIT: Thanks for answering before I posted my question.

Im going to be using a computer.....

BG133KT MB
Athlon 1 Gig CPU
40x Liteon CDROM
512MB PC133
NIC (sealed)
Maxtor 8.4 gig
300 Watt PSU
ATI Video Card with RCA Out

I will be playing games through mame, games like marvel vs capcom, metal slug, pacman, etc...
I maybe eventually upgrade the computer and use it as a n64 emu too.
