More trouble, this time with memory

When I drop either of my 256MB Crucial PC2100 DDR memory into my Epox 8k7a mobo, they fit, but not entirely. They sit on top of it to where half the gold connector parts are showing. I can't get them to fit all the way down to where I can close the things. I know there are tons of people out there with this mobo and memory. Has anyone encoutered this. My main thing is I don't want to use force. This is my first build, and I can't afford any broken parts. PLease help.
