Cause we got wannabe drifters here in the states that will cause major accidents.

Do you know how hard it is to get a license in Japan? It cost up the ass too to pay for.

well, they don't have lexus in japan its all toyota.. even the luxury models. they are thinking of launching it some time in 05 though. so i guess you win some you lose some.

or maybe it has something to do with the domestic(gm, ford) car markers hold on american auto market? "show us up on our turf and watch the taxes rise" ... or maybe im just paranoid... i need sleep :(

well, i do think they would have a very big problem if they brought a crown vic fighter to the US: no one would buy it. it doesn't matter how good the car is, because 9/10 crown vic owners aren't going to buy any of that "jap iron." these are the same people who would be buying buicks if that's what their daddy always used to drive instead of fords. and they are not going to be caught dead on a toyota lot.

Boring. I can't see how you rag on the Acura RL and then say "OMG THE CROWN IS THE SHIZZLE MY BIYOTCHES".

(1) The RL looks like a f*&ked up Accord
(2) The RL is a FWD biased AWD cruiser
(3) This is true RWD with a kickass interior

I'm sorry, but this car looks 5x better than an RL. Hell, even the old RL looks more like luxury than the new one.

And this looks like a fvcked up Camry with a Maxima-ish grille. And the RL's interior is still 10x better looking than that Lexus. Oh sorry, "Toyota".

Oh, I'm sorry. Acura, err, I mean Honda can't even come up with a decent RWD platform for their large sedans so they rape their family car chassis for all it's worth and they can't even bring out a brawny V8 so they resort to hopping their V6's up on steroids to compete ;)

We can do this all day :D

I've said it before and I'll say it again... people on this board talk about RWD all the time yet I doubt 5% of you that even own a RWD do anything with them other than drive to work or school like everyone else with FWD vehicles. It's funny how I never see anyone with RWD cars drifting around corners on my way to work. And if you do go drifting around corners on public roads then you need your license revoked.
