More Theremal Paste or no?

The parts for my new build finally arrived. The proccessor I have is an AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition. The heat sink has some theremal paste on it, but I was wondering if that's enough or if I should add more before I put it all together and boot it up. I usually leave my computer on 24/7, so I don't want to burn up this brand new proccessor. I've installed new heatsinks on lower end proccessors with just the paste that comes on the heatsink without a problem, but this is not only the highest end and potentially hottest running CPU I've used, it's also mine. So, yeah, so do not want to burn it up.

Never add more paste to the factory paste. Either just put it on, or remove it, and add new.

I would just put it on.

Be warned that if you ever want to remove the CPU in the future, it might be wiser to remove the stock paste and replace with AS5. The reason is that the stock AMD heatsink paste seems to act much like an adhesive, and if you want to remove a CPU with the stock heatsink paste already attached, you need to warm up the CPU first before you remove it, and do it carefully. I removed a CPU once with the stock paste attached, and it pulled the CPU right out of the socket, still attached to the heatsink!
