More Subways in Wal-Marts than McDonald's??

But now Subway, a unit of closely held Doctor's Associates Inc. of Milford, Conn., is in 1,419 Wal-Marts compared with 1,021 McDonald's.

Wow, I never go to Wal-Mart really, but am shocked to hear of this..

I wouldn't expect there to be many Subways in McDonald's stores.

Ive never seen a McDonalds in walmart. Around here its all subway. I just assumed they had some kind of partnership worked out.

Funny, I've never seen a Subway in Wal-Mart, only McD's.

i've seen both. i've seen small banks in wal-marts also.

I hate Wal-Mart, but at least that's one small thing they are doing right.

Subway > McDs for sure. Not only health wise, but in all other food aspects (like taste).

Wal-Mart charges $$$$ for their space inside Wal-Mart. Its whoever is willing to pay more for that space inside gets that space.

I've also seen Blimpies in Walmarts. I guess that isn't very common though.

Its just the health craze, even though many of Subways stuff can actually be more unhealthy than some of McDonalds stuff. Its does taste better though.

Well, the guy at my subway store knows me well, so he gives me discounts, or extra toppings.
