More storms

I work just a few blocks from the building pictured in this story. It's a mess.....a bunch of windows are out on the East side and an air bridge connecting it to a parking garage collapsed.

This is the line of storms that did it.

i watched those storms flare up on radar this AM around dodge city.
pretty rare to see storms moving SSE like that.

i think ours out here are coming later this evening.

i need a weather radio, i hate having to shut off the comp so i cannot see radar and losing my satellite TV during storms.
completely in the dark as to whats happening or coming out there.

Howdy! Yep....although after the shenanigans that WilTel pulled it's hard to feel sorry for them. Most of downtown is without power.....our building is fine...then again it was built in the late 50's when they knew how to build stuff.

southern illnois has had 6 storms with violent / damaging winds / hail / tornados in the past 9 days.... i'm getting pretty tired of this crap
