More spam lately?

Has anyone else gotten a big increase in spam for about a week now? Mine (a Comcast address) went from 0-2 a day to at least 20. Just wondering if everyone else is, or I gave my address to the wrong company, or an enemy decided to sign me up for junk.

My Yahoo accounts have started a surge again.

It seems that it goes in 2 week cycles or so.
Must take a while for new lists to be compiled, filtered and sold.

yeah, i used to get like 3 or 4 spam mails a day, now i get like 10.

Most likely. I'm seeing that the spam traffic on my network increased 80% over the last week, and most of that was due to the Sober worm. Fortunately, Etrust has me covered.
