More RAM?

I currently have 1GB of Crucial PC3200 DDR-400 (2 X 512 sticks) in my pc. I was wondering how much of a difference dumping another gig or a 512 stick would have. Wouldn't it take roughly the same amount of time because the HD has to find it and then dump it in to the existing RAM slots before the other slots?

Don't bother unless you run multiple programs at one time. 1 gig will be enough for at least another 6 months.

You only need more than 1GB of RAM if you do editing, AutoCad or other graphical programs, multi-tasking or running a server.

Do CRTL ATL DELETE click on performance look at physical memory(k) run some programs you normally would run and some games or intensive, see how much memory is available.
