More RAM, Noticible Difference?

Hey all,

I am speccing out a computer at the moment, it's going to be used solely as a gaming rig and I don't really have a budget, anything less than 2K will fly under the radar. Over 2K, now I will have to justify why I spent that much.

the basic machine is:

Core i5-750
Gigabyte P55-USB3
4GB (2x2GB) OCZ Obsidian DDR3 RAM
XFX 5870
160GB Intel X-25M
DVD Burner
Corsair 750HX
Lian-li Case
Window 7 Home Premium, 64-bit.

My question is whether adding another 4GB of RAM will make much of a difference?

Thanks,

Choir

Win 7 had superfetch. That might cause some barely noticeable differences in load times, cheaper to get a faster hdd tho

my computers, according to the windows 7 widget almost never use more than 1/3 of the 4 g of memory i put in them, but then again ive never played video games
