wow, those meetings sound no different than a Trump rally, all with the leader calling for and enabling his followers to go out and commit violence and murder.

Imagine if the US actually made it illegal to organize neo-Nazi murder-planning rallies like Greece did. Would the GOP ever be able to hold any type of quorum, anywhere?

As terrible as Golden Dawn was—at least they were honest!!

Michaloliakos told a torch-carrying crowd that Golden Dawn and its members “despise democratic norms” while holding his right arm aloft in a Nazi salute. “Everybody says that Golden Dawn are bad fascists, nationalists,” he said. “The truth is, they are not wrong. We are all those things.”

Viewed in their totality, Michaloliakos’s remarks are notable for their utter disregard of democratic ideals. “The people and the voter are a disgraceful thing,” he said during that speech, “and we will never respect them.”

—If only the GOP could be so honest

May as well, current Justice Department hasn’t done anything over 3+ years.
In your opinion why haven’t there been charges from the Presidents Justice Department?
I saw at the Trump rally in Pittsburgh that Trump was leading the crowd in the old 'Lock her up!' chant. And I was thinking, he's been President for nearly 4 years, why isn't she locked up already? And why is he leading the crowd in celebrating his failure to deliver on a 2016 campaign promise? But then I realized, locking her up would defeat the purpose of having someone for the crowd to hate, now wouldn't it?

What lair? Where? All I see is a den of paedophilia beneath a filthy pizza parlor! BUTTERYMAILS

Trump and his cronies have so little on Biden to make him look bad, they have to ramp the hate back up over Hillary just to fire up the base of imbeciles.

Benghazi! Birth certificate! Jade Helm! Gay frogs! Blah, blah, blah. They've been nuts since they started raving about fluoridated water back in the 50's. There's an astounding amount of money made from driving people crazy. Witness Rush Limbaugh & talk radio in general.

D-fense D-fense!
Hold that line!

They’re crumbling. Just this week McSally avoids saying if she is proud of her support of the President
Mitch says he’s been avoiding the White House since at least August because he doesn’t agree with the virus protocals
People are saying Mitch has instructed the most vulnerable to separate themselves from the President
People are saying any day now Mitch could issue to all a save yourself order
Today Republicans don’t like the Presidents Covid relief bill because..........deficits!

As would outlawing abortion. Let's talk about making America Great again but let's not actually do it. Lets keep our eye on a future that will never come rather than a past that never was.

Someone might use it in prosecution of tax crimes or something, but...otherwise, who fucking cares anymore? It's 5 years late. /shrug

I care.

I want to see the story on Fox News about the unfairness of Trump's eventual cavity search when he enters the New York State penal system. I can just see Tucker and Sean complaining about how it was the Democrats' fault that it hurt, because Republicans obviously give much gentler cavity searches....

Trump's impending long and winding road through the legal system is going to be a real test for his followers now that he's out of office. He isn't a leader in the sense that he holds no political office and yes he still does have his cult following. Yet his not being POTUS must surely have significantly affected the size and influence of his following in the party.

It will be a real sight to see when those Repubs in the legislature feel Trump's grip on the party is waning enough to turn their backs on him and abandon him en masse as I think they will, given McConnell's desire to rid the party of such a disastrous liability that he will now have to carry the burden for.

Trump's usefulness is being weighed against the many negative effects he has on the party's ability to wage war against the Dems efforts to, as the Repubs like to say, "socialize the nation to death".

Time will tell as the longer Trump's image gets beat into the dirt by "the system", the more the image of his being the "masterful tell it like it is champion of the abandoned and disaffected" will rot on the vine.
