More Phone Crap!

Now I get home tonight and I have a voicemail on the house phone and it starts off with heavy breathing and then some guy comes on and says that we need to answer the phone or next time he will kill us. The called ID was weird too, it said 'Gator Machine I'... also, the number was local and a reverse lookup only shows that it's a cellphone.

Should we assume it's for real or just a kid playing a prank... Is it illegal to post the phone number here? This guy pissed me off.

Call the cops since you have a number and a recording(?).

edit - what do you mean more? Has this happen before?
 
Lol, I called the number back through skype (woohoo) and some kid answered and he got freaked out he was like 'Oh God' when I asked why he had left a threat on my voicemail. Supposedly it was his little brother.

Yay for drama.

Don't you just love SkypeOut especially since it blocks your outgoing caller ID?
