I am looking to build a new system, and wonder which would be better, benchmarks wise.

4gb ddr2-800 (2x2gb)
2gb dd2-1173(2x1gb pny xlr8)

This will be the mobo-

I have a 3800x2 that I will be using until I can afford a phenom 9850/9950 BE.
I will be running an 8800gs until I can find another 3870oc ddr4 to match with one I have in a box right now.

Any input would be great. Thanks!

More RAM is always better than faster RAM, when it comes to gaming. Faster RAM really doesn't benefit you much, unless you're benchmarking, and even then, not alot.
