We heard that GeForce 7600 GT is 12 pipes and is now at A2 revision. There is another version called the GeForce 7600 GS which is probably 8 pipes similar to the mobile offering. GeForce Go 7600 runs at 450MHz core and 1GHz for memory so we can expect higher clocks for the desktop series. GeForce 7600 GT and GS will be launched a few days after CeBIT so we can expect Mid March timeframe.

This is my guess

7600GT
90nm lowk
550~650mhz core clock
1000~1200 mhz memory clock
128bit/256bit GDDR3 (Or even higher)
12 pipelines
24 ALus -->pixel shaders/texture units
8 or 12 ROPs?
128/256 vram
MSRP: $249

7600GS
90nm lowk
550~ mhz core clock
1200~ mhz memory clock
8 pipes
8 ROPs
16 ALUs --> pixel shader/texture unit
128bit GDDR3
128/256 vram
MSRP: $199?

Also a 6800GS was a 12 pipe card with 8 ROPs. Looks like the 7600GT might outperform the 6800GS if the 12 pipe rumours are true. (Due to the fact its going to be clocked pretty high, and also because one pipeline accounts for 2 ALUs)

True. But dont forget that the 7600GT will probably have less heat, power requirment plus fully working pure video and other features like TSAA. :)

Who cares about TSAA if the card isn't fast enough to enjoy it ;):D

The 6 series also had 2 ALU's per pipe, but they did not have identical capabilities like they do on the 7 series. IMO, 12 pipes sounds like a good idea, at ~500+ mhz it would outperform last gen high end cards like the 6800gt, and would make a nice card for ~$200. 8 pipes just doesnt sound like it would give a 6800gs a good run for its money.
