For network adaptor there are Wireless, Wired and Ethernet.

The following qs are for Desktop Used.

1. What is the difference between wired and ethernet?

2. Wired and Ethernet, which one is more convinent and powerful? (in terms of transfer rate)

3. For online games that will lag alot if your connection is not good, do you prefer to use wired or ethernet, please explain as well. (Assuming cost is not an issue)

Thank You

Well here's to one thing, Wired is ethernet. SO Google it up. In the networking work, Ethernet is something that network uses, fiberoptics, cat5e, cat6 etc, while the word wired term is defined as something connected by wiring, not wi-fi. Hope this helps ya in some areas.

The common Networks that we are using are Ethernet type.

The connection between the computers that are on an Ethernet type Network might be via Wire or Wireless.

As for the ?Holy? ?Speeds? look at the middle of this page.
