I have a Samsung 955df monitor and I'm using the latest Nvidia drivers for my TNT2. In win2k my resulotion is 1600x1200x32 @ 74.5 kHz and 60 Hz. In Linux I'm running at 1600x1200x32 @ 74.9 kHz and 60 Hz. The two horizontal refresh rates are off, and that causes the image position on the monitor to be way off in linux. I am using mandrake 7.0, and currently using the default drivers for, well, everything. Any ideas on how to get the refresh rates the same, or have my monitor save the position from both refresh rates? Software tweaks in linux or anything?

go back into xconfig (depending on your distro it differs with that term, RH its "Setup" Suse "XSetup"... etc etc).

In there, just give your monitors horizontal and vertical refresh rates.

It will auto size it from there for the resolution.
