more klez email -- oh yeah right... yeah right

Has anyone else noticed that Spammers seem to get this virus too? I get these kinds of emails addressed to an address I had years ago, must be off of some spam list somewhere.

I hate klez. Every day I come into work and have to take calls from people getting spammed by klez infected people. grr.

LOL, I had a pretty good laugh the other day. The SysAdmin at a company I freelance for received the Klez tool and thought it was a great idea so he sent it to everybody in the company who promptly used it to "disinfect" their computers. I almost had to pick myself up off the floor I was laughing so hard; every office I went into had it on their desktop.

lol...

My incoming email server automatically kills the klez and a bunch of other viruses, before I even see it.. I just get some goofy subject line w/ "virus deleted" in it

Someone in my dept has it, and will not respond to my pleas to install antivirus or remove me from their address book :( Hundreds of klez messages...

I control a yahoogroup (several of them but only one gave me the trouble) that got hit. I complained to the affected people then they didnt respond so I called my sister (one of teh affected people) and told her to clean her machine out. She did and prompty got reaffected in the time windows got updated. She finally got it fixed up so she did get clean eventually.

Anyway after 2 weeks of dealing with it, I locked down the list (so only members can post) and then sent an email to two microsoft employees who were on that list saying something in teh line of "if Microsoft cant write a decent peice of bug free software then bill gates should hand over the company to me". A few other things in there with scathing remarks to microsoft were there. Needless to say they all had their emails promptly redirected to hotmail id's and had me disable their microsoft.com addys.

No harm to them (cause I didnt address them directly by name but rather they were in a Blind Copy Email list) but the fact is that Microsoft better get rid of the bugs.. cause I aint taking it anymore. All the more why Netscape Messenger rules.. and why LInux Rules (I put that in that email too).
