PC world only lists a few cards, and lately their focus has been on cards 400-500 each, plus they hide their top 100 more and more in hopes people will buy their magazine before seeing how useless it is.

Can anyone suggest a good source that compares cards to other cards. Benchmarks show certain cards, but lets face it... not all 6800 are as fast as other 6800, so tests don't always help.

I need to find a good card that will last, without breaking my bank... but how do I know which to buy... a card with more ram and lower core memory speed, or a card with less ram and higher clocks?

Geforce 6600 GT 9C 500 MHz 1.0 GHz 128-Bit 8 128mb $179
Geforce 6800 9C 325 MHz 700 MHz 256-Bit 12 128mb $252
Geforce 6800 GT 9C 350 MHz 1.0 GHz 256-Bit 16 128mb $324
Geforce 6800 GT 9C 350 MHz 1.0 GHz 256-Bit 16 128mb $369

I don't have a lot of cash, I can see clock/ram differences... but enough to justify the extra cash?

I am to the point I just want to buy a 6800 GT with 256mb of ram... so, where can I get a good deal on a good card? Havent seen much here or in Hot Deals lately.

Looks like newegg is having a one day sale. There is a thread around here announcing it.
