In the newsletter, here. The SiS R659 chipset is a quad-channel RDRAM chipset, capable of satifying Prescott's 800fsb with cheap PC800. I have a feeling that it will be impractical (ie buying 4 sticks of 64MB) for the desktop, but it's cool none the less. I wonder if they could have 2 RIMM3200 to cut the sticks down to 2 instead of 4...

I'm sure motherboards with this chipset will support the 32-bit RDRAM modules. Perhaps even the planned quadchannel RIMM modules.

Most excellent. This is exactly the benefit of a serial memory architecture. Look out for Octal-channel (8) solutions in the works in a year or so...
