I'm planning on building a htpc out of my current rig (going to upgrade) and this is waht it consists of
p4 3.0
p4p800-vm
9800 pro
1gb ram
160gb hdd (i have various 200/160 laying around ill decide later which i will use)
aspire x-qpack
MCE
dvdrom etc
as i was searching more posts were about HDTV or satillites (neither I have) and all i want to do with it is
- watch tv
- record shows
- record shows while watching another program Tivo style
- basic Media stuff
now to my understanding in order to record shows while watching another program requires 2 tuners. I was looking NV DualTV tuner card but also people say get a card based on ATI's 550 pro chip set
would the dual tv tuner be my best bet?
