More home networking help needed

I have 2 PC's networked with crossover cable for gaming and file sharing. Everything is working fine. What I want to do now is set it up to share a internet connection also. I tried to do this, but for some reason
TCP/IP got corrupt and I had to remove and reinstall everything (I could not connect to ISP). I have it working right for gaming and file sharing. Can someone explain to me how to add internet connection sharing to the 2 PC's. Both PC's are win98SE. thanks in advance.

ICS should work. If you can afford it, though, consider getting a router. Way more flexible, along with a tiny extra bit of security.

Just my 2¢.
