So after talking to my seller about whats going on with my no-video concern, he tells me that i fried out my board because i was missing the spacers that go between the board and case. The little brass things and what not. I didn't know we were suppose to use some. He i am thinking i the video card is messed up. But i guess i can see how i fried my board, maybe even the CPU. I hope not. But i need to figure out if i can save this board somehow or just trash it and spend about 25$ on a new board.
I had a MSI 6330. Like a msi k7t turbo or Pro. Should i just go out and get a board. Is there a way to test this board if it works or not. Is there a way to test to see if the CPU is fine?
When i turn on the computer, everything seems to be funcitioning and what not. But no video signal. There are no beeps. But when i turn on the system without the video the board makes 1-pause 8 beeps. which is accordingly.
This is really upsetting to me to have this happen to me. Especially since i told my little cousins that i could build them their well needed computer. Now looks like i need to spend more of my money for them. :frown:
