If we exterminate the baby boomers and confiscate their assets.... Problem solved. No biggie.

:whiste: I guess you gotta have somebody to hate.

But good luck with that plan, baby boomers have bigger guns and are a hell of a lot smarter than you are.

seeing as projections are predictions of the future, nothing is certain. thus, if congress were smart, they'd limit the government's obligations so we don't come anywhere close to such a calamity....but of course if they had that sense, we wouldn't be in the position we are right now...

The problem is a government job as gone from being a service to being a MAJOR entitlement program.

They constantly cry they are underpaid compared to the private sector, but usually that is them comparing their salaries to defence contractors which trump everyone.

They say no COLA for SS in one breathe, yet raise their own COLA in another.

It's time to start over...

What are you yammering on about now? There was no COLA for federal workers this year nor is one expected for at least two and possibly five more years. Drunk posting never works out well for you.

I am not drunk for one...and I was talking COLA for government workers, not retirees.

Most of the government sector that was smart (perhaps not you) retired and then got rehired...some did this 2x or more.
