"The suspect driver exited his vehicle and began assaulting officers. Police used tasers on the suspect, but this did not stop his violent behavior. The continued assaultive behavior of the suspect along with the neutral effect of the tasers created suspicion that the suspect was under the influence of an unknown substance. Officers were able to eventually handcuff the suspect, who then became unresponsive. The officers at the scene immediately gave medical attention. The suspect was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead."
