well, i posted in the stickied thread but I saw that it had already been answered so I am posting a new thread.

I cannot find my thread for the life of me using search.

I have used the terms "apple", and "powerbook" with no luck. I am guessing my powerbook is not an item a lot of people are looking for, so I have to constantly work on bumping it if I hope on anyone interested ever seeing.

Shows up for me with a simple search in FS/T for Apple or Powerbook (about 35-40 entries down) without ordering by date, 3rd entry when ordered by date. Advanced search for Apple in FS/T, order by date, last three days shows it as the 4th entry. Advanced search for posts by jaybert in FS/T last three days ordered by date shows your thread as the first entry.

thanks, i just assumed it would be at the top like anormal search, didnt realize that it didnt search by date!

If you check "order search results by date" in advanced search once, it will remain checked and order all your searches that way until you uncheck it.

Why is this not on by default? I have been getting pissed about this for months because I just want to see the "current" items in FS/FT when I search, not something from June.
