Favre faces more allegations from his New York days

Deadspin's exposure of Favre's alleged exposure apparently has prompted one of the Jets' former massage therapists to come forward with an account of Favre pursuing two massage therapists -- and eventually sending them "nasty" text messages.

The husband of one of the women took offense, and supposedly dialed the number from which Favre sent the text messages. "I called him on his phone and told him I wanted an apology," the man told A.J. Daulerio of Deadspin. "He acted all arrogant. He refused to apologize."

The couple claims they contacted a lawyer regarding a potential sexual harassment case, but they were told that, because the women are contractors and not employees, they could not pursue the matter. (Maybe they should have talked to a better lawyer; the specific status a person holds in a workplace doesn't provide immunity from the sexual harassment laws. Otherwise, everyone would hire contractors and the business world would be Sterling Cooper Draper Whoremonger all over again.)

The couple also claims that the text messages have been saved, and that they have not yet decided whether to go public.

If they do, the NFL will have no choice but to expand the investigation to include these new contentions.

One season too many Brett. One too many.

Now we surely know who he's giving a thumbs up during this picture.

NFL looking into Brett Favre allegations of voice mails, pictures to Jenn Sterger

The Associated Press • October 8, 2010

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — The NFL is reviewing allegations involving the Vikings' Brett Favre, who the website Deadspin says sent racy messages and photos to a former sideline reporter while he quarterbacked for the Jets in 2008.

"We are reviewing the matter," league spokesman Greg Aiello said Friday when asked about reports that a person alleged to be Favre sent voice mails and lewd pictures to Jenn Sterger.

Asked if he cared to respond to the Deadspin report, Favre said Thursday: "I'm not getting into that. I've got my hands full with the Jets and am trying to get some timing down with our guys, so that's all I'm going to discuss."

The Vikings and Jets play Monday night in New York.

Deadspin reported that a man alleged to be the 40-year-old Favre contacted Sterger on MySpace and began leaving her voicemails. The website posted a video of the voicemails and several graphic pictures allegedly sent to Sterger's cell phone.

"Send me a text. Love to see you tonight," one voicemail said.

The 26-year-old Sterger, now a TV personality for Versus, has a website that describes her as an actress, model, writer and television host.

Sterger's manager Phil Reese said she is "not doing any interviews or commenting at this time," but that "Jenn did not provide Deadspin with any information."

In an e-mail to The Associated Press, A.J. Daulerio, Deadspin's editor in chief, declined to reveal the source of the material. He did say the source of the photos contacted him and that Deadspin paid for them.

Favre and his wife, Deanna, have been married 14 years.

Who else here might be thinking that Favre was doing this in Green Bay more often than not, but got away with it because there "he was king" so to speak. I think he was used to women just fawning over him there, and then when he went else where he ran into a rude awakening.

At least Brett lives within walking distance of the Tiger Woods approved sex addiction clinic in Hattiesburg, MS.

Why do people act like this is news? Professional athletes bang many women? I know two women are and were banging professional athletes who were married. Jersey chasers, how do they work?

Kobe bryant, Big ben, favre, Tiger... who else thinks it is limited to favre? Be real now... a lot of the women could be attention whores who like the big star fawning all over them. Any town that has a pro sports team will have these stories.

tiger screwed a hella of a lot of women... none of them were complaining. He gets busted... they all see a payola then come out of the wood work. favre goes to far and the women feels sexually harassed and busts him. So all the others come out of the woodwork for more attention or possible payout.

Making a pass <> doing anything illegal. You can go right down the street asking every woman you meet if she'd like to "whatever".

She can say no.

Now if you push it more than a couple times then you are guilty of harrassing.

Is anyone else questioning the timing of the story? It is pretty coincidental that Favre is on MNF playing the team he was on when the allegations occurred.

Dude is sad. Least other guys got some for their troubles. Favre got blue balls and he's worth millions. Probably has personality of a chain saw.

Can't we just let him the dirty old man in the NFL. At his age, it's borderline acceptable to act like that.
