Ed's newest rant
Ed seems to be stuck on the fact that ATI is playing mind games. Anand, you is hyp-mo-tized! I thought that this guy had a portion of a clue. I guess I was wrong. He's pointing out that in games that were previously shown to be CPU limited and/or gimpy benchers, the 9700 only beats out the 4600 by about 20% at 10X7. Shenanigans!!! Shenanigans!!
Does he not understand that ATI is in the business of making money? I didn't get my degree in bidness, but as I understand it, you don't want to present your new product in the worst possible light. I suppose that they could have run benches by nVidia and PowerVR and disabled parts of the card, to be more fair. Maybe if they had invited Ed to the shindig and given him a little hat, he could have been the Grand Poobah of BenchmarkQC and he would be happy.
Anand and Kyle are sell outs, only Ed is "keepin' it real". Ed-iot.
He also breaks it down that you should look at what you will be using your video card for and whether is can "perform" at an acceptable level. Also, Ed has deduced that you should look at something called "price"[sic]. Ed should lay off the goofy juice. Price[sic] and performance [sp?]... what'll they think of next?
