Just how much propaganda does this administration really think the American public will accept? Apparently quite a bit. What a crock of sh*t!

Couple this with the White House's verbal tirades against Newsweek demanding Newsweek do more to defuse the situation (even though protests in Afghanistan appear to have occurred *before* the Newsweek article came out.) Why doesn't the administration hold itself accountable for the torture and murder its committed in various prisons?

This tactic is just another notch on the fear belt formerly worn by Goebbels.

Disgusting.

Sounds like you on the far left are the only ones "scared". The rest of us see that procedures are in place and are being used to secure air-travel. Ofcourse if these things weren't in place you and your moonbats would be the first ones in here whining about how Bush didn't do anything. So yeah, keep it up - the American people see right through your "damned if he does/damned if he doesn't" BS.

Recent poll results would beg to differ.

Record low approval ratings of any president at this point in a 2nd term.

What are you able to see through TO?! It's already a proven fact that our leaders used 9/11 and terrorism as an excuse to invade a sovereign nation... and now they're riding this bull right through domestic affairs as well. And we're the blind ones?!

I'm sure Bush decided that it was time to divert a plane so it'll create fear in the American people. I'll say it again, you're a dumbass if you believe that this was deliberate on the Bush admin's part. They are making an effort to stop terrorists, and you are over here saying they stopping planes for propaganda purposes? Come on now...

Recent school tests also show the average american to be a fvcking moron. Having the comprehension level of an 8 year old does not help in distinguishing between the two party's propaganda. But an 8 year old does understand fear.

Recent election results only indicate how easily Rove & Co. can get people to believe propoganda.

The thing I don't understand is what does diverting the plane from Boston to Bangor accomplish?? Smaller town equals less people killed?? If they were really worried, then why didn't they try and take the party into custody before any more people become "at risk"?

An Alitalia jet en route from Milan, Italy, to Boston was being diverted to Bangor, Maine, on Tuesday because the name of a passenger on board matched that of a person on the U.S. government's no-fly list, officials said.
So essentially the safety protocols are working, and this is a case of mistaken identity.

Just how much propaganda does this administration really think the American public will accept? Apparently quite a bit. What a crock of sh*t!
How is this propaganda considering that the mistaken identification of the passenger on board set into motion a series of safety precautions that turned out to be a false alarm?

Why doesn't the administration hold itself accountable for the torture and murder its committed in various prisons?
What does this have to do with the article?

Nothing in the article makes mention of grand conspiracies or propaganda efforts. You make it sound like Bush himself called for the plane to be diverted so as to keep the American people "scared."

When do the Impeachment proceedings begin?

What about a person that has an IQ level above 200? What is your expert opinion about their ability to distinguish between the two party's propaganda? And finally, which party's propaganda do you prefer? Heh heh

We all know how polls can lie.

If the polls told the truth, then Gore and/or Kerry would be sitting in the WH.

Why thank you. I think Conjur is a little more radical then I, but that's just his style. We need more Dem's with his "take no prisoner" style of attacking.

And you think that is the case with these polls? The polls with Gore/Kerry/Bush were neck and neck. This is far from neck and neck.

Yeah, diverting a plane, and ripping a completely innocent passenger from his seat and grilling him is really making me feel safe. Keep lapping up the propaganda though, otherwise you might expose yourself to reality.
