More DMCA *madness*

BMG released a CD that utilized a new copyright protection scheme for audio CDs: "MediaMax CD3," which was designed by SunComm Technologies. Subsequently, John Halderman, a graduate professor at Princeton, released a paper detailing exactly how to circumvent this protection (namely, by holding down the "SHIFT" key...duh). In true DMCA fashion, SunComm has sued Alderman under the DMCA -- using the SHIFT key may now be a crime?
