This was 12 years ago, what can the Vets expect to have to deal with after they return,
and what does the future hold for them ?

I doubt they are denying it exists. By definition, syndromes are a constellation of signs/symptoms that appear together but lack a clear common etiology (cause) or pathophysiology (process). Gulf War Syndrome has a poor basis in medical science b/c it's basically a catchall term for every ailment that Gulf GIs acquired. I'm not defending the BS from the Pentagon which has a default position of denial. The lack of disclosure and possibly even obstruction by the Pentagon may have contributed to the lack of clarity on GWS. But the truth remains that we don't know what to make of GWS.
